SilenciartEmeditar — Moncloa - Aravaca, Spain
Meditation, meditative dance, silence and encounter, led by Yolanda Hdez
The week at SilenciartEmeditar is framed by two hours. On Tuesdays from 19:00 to 20:00 there is meditative dance, which the space calls meditation in movement. On Mondays from 20:00 to 21:00 the practice turns still and moves online, as meditation in quietude.
The space is directed and coordinated by Yolanda Hdez, who introduces herself on the home page as Yoly and says she is passionate about "el camino del Ser", the path of Being. Its own description is brief and exact: a space of meditation, dance, silence and encounter.
Beyond the weekly sessions, the Encuentros section gathers workshops, talks and training under the heading "Dando Vida a tu vida". The weekend workshops are described as human and spiritual formation, and a separate section is given to workshops with Fidel Delgado. Yoga also appears among the offerings. The retreats are silence retreats, including a single day to disconnect, and are framed as "el verdadero lujo", the true luxury: space, time and silence.
The blog keeps a record of the work in articles, audio and photographs from past workshops. Several entries are guided meditations to be played and listened to, among them "Celebrar el don de ser" and "Soltar para abrazar" (both February 2022) and "Descansar en el presente" (March 2023). A 2021 entry on attention to the sensation of contact and the breath carries a poem called "Perdido". Its instruction is the same one the space builds on: stay still, and "el bosque sabe dónde estás", the forest knows where you are.
